Clyde
“Dr. Lake and Mac were a godsend to me. My new 10 month old kitten Clyde was very ill and would not eat his food or drink his water anymore. It was also very difficult for me to get Clyde into his carrier because he was still very strong. Dr. Lake came to my rescue right away and fixed Clyde’s problem with immediate meds and soon after surgery. Clyde has fully recovered now and is healthy and happy again. My tears have now stopped because Dr. Lake and Mac have saved Clyde’s life. Thank you for everything wonderful you do.”

Coco
“As he was able to calm Coco, our 10-year-old Cockapoo, down enough to engage in a comprehensive exam, Dr. Lake should be called the dog whisperer! Coco has had past issues with seizures and Lyme disease, and Dr. Lake patiently walked me through his recommendations to accurately assess her current state and suggested only relevant testing options. We feel confident that Dr. Lake and his team are the best to care for our beloved fur baby and highly recommend them!”

Bumble
“While I didn't personally have the pleasure of interacting with Dr. Lake for Bumble's first appointment, I am so happy we found Lake Mobile. Bumble has always been anxious around the vet, requiring anxiety medications and other treats to help calm him down. It seems that Bumble actually did better with Dr. Lake than any other vet as Dr. Lake was able to take an ear temperature and do a full exam. I never received a summary of exam findings from other vets, but Dr. Lake's comprehensive notes about the visit earns my trust even more! Also, the convenience of having a vet come to you for the same cost (if not cheaper) than a typical vet is a HUGE plus!”

Kuzco
“I was extremely pleased having Dr. Lake and his vet tech stop by our house to complete a nail trim on our greyhound. He has a lot of anxiety around visiting the vet, so having the choice to have his nails trimmed in our home was ideal and I would argue enjoyable for our dog. 5 stars because 10 stars isn’t an option with Google Reviews.”

Winston
“We are so grateful that we have had Dr. Lake as Winston’s vet ever since we got him. Dr. Lake has done an incredible job ensuring Winston is happy and healthy, while also educating us on important topics. We definitely recommend Dr. Lake for all your pet’s care!”

Piper
“Dr. Lake has been Piper’s doctor since we adopted her when she was just six months’ old -just five days after her front right leg amputation. My wife and I had no idea how to help her adjust or build the strength that she would need to take walks to keep her energy level in check. He helped us with a plan to build her strength and stamina over time, and by following that guidance (and restricting her distance), we are happy to report that she gets daily walks and is a very happy, healthy girl!”

Franklynne
“My tortie cat is a bit of a challenge to most veterinarians. If you have ever heard the description “tortitude,” that fits my Frankie to a tee. Dr. Lake and I agreed to the plan that would make Frankie less anxious for her appointments (a small dose of gabapentin before her visit), and Frankie and Dr. Lake are now fast friends!”

Bella
“Our sweet senior pup is now 12 years old! She is very willing to see Dr. Lake and is quite a compliant patient. Dr. Lake makes sure that we are diligent with her wellness checks due to her arthritis and allergies and has worked with us on treatment plans/supplements to keep Bella active and moving and as “itch free” as possible during the Fall when her allergies could otherwise get the better of her.”

Baxter
“While we did eventually lose the fight with our brave boy about a year ago now, Dr. Lake helped our Baxter improve his quality of life for almost two extra years once he diagnosed him with diabetes. Baxter was inexplicably lethargic and exhibiting symptoms that I had never seen in many years of cat ownership. Dr. Lake did a thorough work up and explained the diagnosis. He worked through options with us and we agreed given Baxter’s overall health that daily insulin was the treatment that made sense for him. Baxter improved almost immediately on the insulin and was “back to his old self” at 13 years of age!”

Olaf
“Dr. Lake has been with us every step of the way in handling Olaf’s asthma, thanks to him we have it well managed and he is able to live a very full life with minimal attacks.”

Gus
“While Gus struggled with his weight, Dr. Lake remained compassionate, yet firm and educational with diet and exercise suggestions to prevent feline diabetes.”

Monty
“As Monty endured a complex diagnostic process for atypical Cushing’s disease, Dr. Lake was not afraid to refer us out to an internal medicine specialist. This was so appreciated as we didn’t want to put Monty through any unnecessary testing, yet still needed answers and support.”

Murphy
“Okay, I know I’m biased because Dr. Lake is my dad. But even after he cares for pets all day, he attends to my wants and needs with love. When he occasionally needs to do “vet things” with me, he is gentle and talks me through the process. My absolute favorite part about having a veterinarian for a pawrent though is that he always smells like furry friends and treats!”
